Hi, what is the maximum duration of stay allowed on Type M?I am an indian resident and need to travel to China for about 6 months

Amit, generally speaking, the M type allows you to stay for 90 days at most. If you want to stay for six months, you can apply for a six-month multiple entry M type. However, by doing so, you need to exit and enter whenever the stay duration ends.
