Public Transportation to China Academy of Art (Xiangshan Campus) in Hangzhou

I want to visit the China Academy of Art (Xiangshan Campus) and its new museum (designed by architect Kengo Kuma) in mid September 2015. How can I get there from the city centre by public transportation? I need to catch an evening flight after the visit to the Xiangshan Campus so what would be the best way to go to the airport shuttle bus terminal, Wulinmen CAAC Ticket Office from the Xiangshan Campus and how long would the journey take? Thank you!

Wulin Square is regarded as the city center. If you leave from that point, you can take the bus No. 318 to Wushan Road. Then walk for another 0.6 miles to the campus. The travel time is about 60 – 70 mins.

When you go back to the CAAC from the campus, there is no direct transport mode, and you need to transfer several times. So I suggest you take a taxi, and the fare is about CNY70, and the travel time is about 35 – 40 mins.

Thank you for your advice. Can I get the airport shuttle bus ticket (to airport) in advance from Railway Station ( City Station) or CAAC Station? For example, can i get the airport shuttle bus ticket for the afternoon in the morning?

Well, to be honest, it's not necessary for you to buy the tickets in advance. There are many schedules every day. Just buy the tickets when you getting there. You can find the ticket service counter easily.
But if you insist, you can get one earlier. Just tell the staff you are going to get onboard in the afternon.
