we are travelling from Malaysia. Do we need a visa.

we have booked our flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kunming.

How long will you stay in Kunming? You plan to tour there or just transit? If you plan to stay for more than 24 hours, you need to get an L type prior to your departure.
