leaving employment to travel as a tourist

go - i have entered china on a Z visa. this hasn't yet been made into a temporary residence permit. I do not like my job, and wish to leave, but remain in china as a tourist. is it possible to change my Z type to a L type? many thanks,amy

Hi Amy, if you just want to stay for no more than 30 days in China, you don't need to change the Z type to an L type because the Z type can be used for 30 days even though you don't apply for the residence permit. If you want to stay longer, you can change it at the local exit and entry adminsitration bureau of PSB.
