About:Chinese Embassy in Argentina

One Day Rush Visa for British and Australian National

I will be in Buenos Aires for 3 days in a couple of weeks time. I want to apply for an L Class Chinese entry permit whilst I am there.

I am wondering if this is posible at the embassy and, if so, whether I need an appointment? Also, can you please advise if the one day rush service is something you still provide.

Many thanks,

Michael

Hi, Michael. The embassy still provide rush and express services, so I think it's possible to apply within three days, but I'm not sure whether you can get it in one day. If you use the urgent service, may be you can get it. You don't need to make an appointment.

What do I need to bring? Is the urgent service still available?

You need to bring your passport, passport copy, filled application form, recent color bare-headed photo, the original and photocopy of the entry permit for Argentina, and round-trip tickets and hotel reservations for the upcoming trip.

Thanks for that.

Re my accommodation - I will be staying with a friend, so I do not have a hotel reservation. Is this an issue?
