Question

Arrival at 1.30pm on 01 Dec 15. If purchase under Airport Express Travel Pass with unlimited 72 hours MRT ride.What I understand the unlimited rides is not included for buses n ferries. If on my 1st day I wish to take the ferry or bus ride, should I top up  the AE travel pass on the 1st day n continue with the unlimited MRT till 72 hrs?What is the card different between HK $220 and HK $300?

Yes, since you want to take the bus on the first day, you need top up the travel pass, but the deposit for the three days unlimited MTR ride is still valid. The pass will also function like a normal octopus card after reloading, which can be used on ferry, too.The card with HKD220 only included one single Airport Express journey, while the HKD300 includes round-trip airport express journeys.
