About:

Distance/Transportation from Yushan South Railway to Jinsha Ropeway

I am planning a trip to Sanqingshan this Sunday-Tuesday. I plan to take the train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yushan South arriving around 12:30p. Can you confirm that there is a bus/shuttle leaving from the Yushan train station directly to Jinsha Ropeway Station (South Entrance) on the mountain? How long does it take to get there? If so, are there hotels near the Jinsha Ropeway Station (South Entrance). I will plan to stay close to the south entrance and make a full day of hiking on Monday. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

There is no direct transport mode from the train station to the ropeway station (South Entrace), so you are suggested to hire a car going there. As I know, the drivers at the south railway station usually offer a high price, you need to bargain with them. And the reasonable fare for that should be CNY130 -150. The driving duration is about 1.5 hours. If you want to save some money, you can share a car with other fellow travelers.

Here are some other tips, they may be helpful.
Near the ropeway station, there are a lot of hotels and restaurants available, so it would be a good choice as foothold.
