About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

APEC card - new passport

Hello. I'm traveling to Shanghai from hk and back. All within 72 hours. Russian passport holder.
I have APEC card. However I just got new passport, applied to change my Apec card but it needs another 3 weeks to arrive. And I need to go to china urgently.
Can I still be allowed in China with current apec card, old passort and new?

Anna, as your got a new passport, the current APEC card not be used as a visa. You have to get a new card with your new passport. If you need to go urgently, you can apply for an entry permit from the PRC embassy by using the urgent service.
