Take Gold and Silver out of Hong Kong

Hello,

I am traveling to Hong Kong and probably buy gold in silver amounting to 200,000 $ hkd give or take.

Is there any restriction on the amount of gold I can buy and bring out of Hong Kong? Should I inform customs when traveling with that precious metal?

I have been looking all over for answers and hopefully someone can share a link or info that I can print out.

Thanks!

There is no regulations by HK customs and you can exit with any amount as you want (except milk powder). The thing is if the customs of your country allow you to enter with that amount of gold and silver. You should confirm in your country beforehand.
