Can you tell me where do you start?

Anyway, you can take the MTR to Tung Chung Station, and take the Exit B. Then take the Ngong Ping cable car up (HKD169 for standard cabin). After getting off, there are signs in English indicating the walking direction to the Lantau Peak, the walking may take about 25 mins.

For a cheaper way, after taking the Exit B walk to Tung Chung Town Center to take the bus No. 23 to Nong Ping (HKD17.2). Then follow the signs to hike to the peak, and the duration is about 1 hour.

Near the Lantau peak, there is a YHA Ngong Ping SG Davis Youth Hostel availale, and the fare is HKD100 – 150 per night.
