About:China Bank Acount, Credit Card, Traveler's Cheque

can I use my visa or mastercard mag strip card in china? or does it have to be EMV chip ready?

Lee, mag stripped cards are still used though those with EMV chips are more popular today. You won't have problems in using your card.
