About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

What type of visa do I need to enter Hong Kong and what documents are necessary?

I want to visit Hong Kong for 3 days and then go to Bangkok, Singapore and back to Colombo after a week. This is a holiday trip.

You need to apply for a visitor type. It requires filled ID1003A form, copies of your passport information page and entry records (if any), a recent passport photo, financial standings (recent six months bank statement for example), flight and travel itineraries and accommodation booking there.

Please apply at least 30 days ahead of your trip. It takes four working days if the Chinese embassy deals with your application. If your application is sent to HK Immigration Department, then it takes four to six weeks.
