About:China Visa Application in USA

Arriving Shanghai 10/4 9:40am then joining a cruise in Beijing 10/7 .

I am a US citizen, do I need a Chinesa visa? Am I qualified for the 72 hrs exemption? BG

BG, as you leave China by cruise ship, you do not qualify for the 72 hour entry permit exemption, so you need to get an tansit permit in advance.
