Attraction

I should go to Beijing from 29th of August to 3rd of September. Is everything closed in this days or I have the possibility to visit something? Is the Great Wall closed?

Rachele, not everything is to be closed on these days. Only tourist sites surrounding Tiananmen Square are closed. Except the Forbidden city and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall is closed from Aug 22 to Sept 3, other tourist attrations only close on Sept 2 and 3. The Great Wall is still open to the public. Therefore, you can still have a good trip. Because of the trafic control, you had better take buses or subways when going out.
