Carrying with me 12000 USD as TC and as currency USD 3000 can I bring this money with me to China

What did you mean TC? You should know that passengers can take as much as 5000USD in cash. If you carry more than 5000USD, you'd better deposit it into a debit card or change it into a cheque.0

I see, if you take 12000 USD as TC, then you can take another 3000 USD in cash. It's fine.0
