About:Shopping in Dongguan

hi how do i get to Humen Bomei Fumin Cloth Market from Guangzhou?

I understand i can take a train from Guangzhou railway station to Dongguan but from there i am not sure how to get to the cloth market. I have only been to Guangzhou once.

It's suggested to take high-speed train from South Railway Station, get off at Humen Railway Station. It takes around 30 mins on the way. The ticket fare of first class seat is CNY49.5 and second class seat is CNY34.5.
After arriving, take bus no.118 to get to the cloth market directly. Or you can take a taxi. The cab fare is CNY 10 to 20.

Hi, Lilian. There is another option. You can take a bus from Guangzhou Provincial Bus Station (near Guangzhou Rail Station) to Humen Taiping. Then the Fumin Cloth Market is 1.3-1.5km away. Take a taxi to reach there.

No, they are different. They are actually around 20km apart.

Ok if I take the train option I can easily find the south railway station I suppose? Is the bus option faster?

Yes, train is faster and the high-speed one only takes 20-30min. The bus ride takes 60-70min.
