About:Taiwan Travel

Will be heading to Taiwan from 22-28 August. Taichung & Taipei or just Taipei?

Will it be advisable to head to Taichung for 2 days then back to Taipei for 5 days or stay in Taipei for 7 days? I am afraid that typhoon may hit Taichung.

Oh, the weather forecast shows that the typhoon will both influence these two places. But the influence will be declined in the end of August. Although there will be several showes or light rainy days, it won't influence your sightseeing a lot. You can visit Taichung and Taipei. Don't worry.
When it rains, it will be ok for you to tour around city center. But it's not advised to climb the mountain.
