About:China Private Visit Visa

Hie would like to use group visa.

do they allow us to find a place to stay which is not a hotel since we are going to stay for about six months. We are really trying to save and learn more about China as tourist ,so are they going to allow us we will be five.

Renee, if you want to apply for the group type entry permit, you must join in a travel group organized by an agency. Otherwise, even you are five persons, you need to apply for the individual tourist L type. No matter you finally get the group type or individual type entry permit, I don't think you can stay in China for six months uninterruptedly. The L type allows you to stay for three months at most.
