1. Well, about the transportation, you can easily find many car rental companies outside the airport. Some of them have vans or mini bus that can accpet 9 people. So don't worry. Remember to negotiate the price before get on the van. The price is CNY 600 to 700 for the single trip.
Or upon landing, you can take long-distance bus at the airport, get off at Shantou Prime Building first. The duration is about 70 mins. And the ticket fare is CNY 20 per person.
After arriving, take taxi to get to the destination directly. One taxi can allow four passengers. So you need three taxies. The cab fare is about CNY 15 per taxi.

2. About the weather, the previous weather data shows that the temperature was 75 F to 75 F. It was warm and comfortable. You can bring T-shirts, jeans and light jackets.

3. Nan Ao Island, Qing Ao Bay and Citic Resort, Lotus Peak, Queshi Scenic Spot and Zhongshan Park are popular scenic areas in this city. If you have enough time, all of them are worth to tour around.
