About:

Visit Great wall of China on September 3rd

me and my husband are visiting Beijing from 2nd to 4th of Sept and will travel to Xian on the 5th. we had planned to visit the Square and the Forbidden City on the 3rd. Since that is not possible now, can we plan to visit the Great Wall on the 3rd or will that be closed too??
Will we have trouble travelling to Xian on the 5th?? will the bullet trains run on 5th?
Please help us out!!! we had done our bookings many months in advance and were just informed by our hotel yesterday that they will remain closed and so they are relocating us to a separate branch!! Please!!

The Great Wall will not be closed on September 3rd. You can visit it.
On September 5, you can take a bullet train to Xian. It won't be a problem. Actually, at that time, all things will go back to the track. No worry.

thank you Leo for your information... i am troubling you with one more question though... can we travel to The Great Wall on 3rd via the subway lines or will they be shut down on that day?? we plan to take Line no. 10 to Shuangjing and then line 7 to the Beijing West for train to Badaling.... will this plan be possible...i would be very much obliged if you can guide us... thanking you...

Some subway stations around the parade site will be shut down too. But as I know so far, Shuangjing and West Railway Station subway stations are not included. So if your starting station is not included either, the plan is possible.
