About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

can we get a visa from a Chinese embassy or consulate in a country other than our home country?

Due to timing we cannot apply prior to leaving home in the UK on a round the world trip. Can we apply for and obtain one from the embassy or consulate in Vancouver? Also, we have an itinerary but the flight ticket may be an e-ticket - will this be a problem?

Sue, you should apply from the CVASC office in Vancouver. The consulate there does not accept such applications any more. The e-ticket is okay. You can print it out and submit the copies.
