About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sir Lanka Citizen for 24 hour Direct Transit

I am hoping to fly from Colombo, Sir Lanka to HK on Oct 18 and then go directly from airport to cruise ship which departs for Vietnam that same day's evening. I would be in HK about 10 hours total. Can I use a direct transit visa?

Hello! My opinion is that a transit visa is only through mainland China! While Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China! There are other rules of transit and stay! For example for the Russians to 14 days without a visa! And no matter the transit or stay in Hong Kong!
