Do I need a VISA for visiting CHINA in May 2016?

I have a BRITISH PASSPORT (British UK born & living in SOUTH AFRICA) = How much it costs?
I also have a SOUTH AFRICAN PASSPORT (British but South African Permanent Resident) = How much it costs?
*Is it best to travel in CHINA on my British or South African Passport?

You need to apply for a L type from the CVASC center in Johannesburg. A single entry one costs the same no matter which passport you use. However, if you entered South Africa with your British passport, then there should be entry record and stamp. Therefore, I suggest you use this one to apply. Otherwise, you might have trouble when you exit South Africa.
