About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Me and my wife both got X1 visa to study in china, but for my son they gave tourist type

Will there be any chance to get residence permission for my son for long stay? Since he is 3 years old and we both are going to stay for three years.

Whanei, if you plan to make your son stay for long, you need to change his L type into S1 type. Please visit local entry and exit management bureau when you change your X1 into long-term resident permits and ask if you can change L into S1 without leaving. If they say no, then you need return to your country to apply your son a S1. Do not forget to bring his birth certificate and it has to be authenticated by Chinese embassy in your country.
