About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Travelling alone and want to visit windows of the world, how much is the visa?

I am from Philippines travelling to Hong Kong. Is it possible for me to visit Shenzhen alone or Shenzhen requires minimum pax to travel there?

Hi, if you can get the entry permit for Shenzhen, of course you can travel alone. I don't advise you to apply for the Shenzhen VOA or apply a normal one from Hong Kong. You had better apply from the PRC embassy in your country. The cost is 1400 pesos.

You had better apply for it in your country. If you apply from Hong Kong, you may not get it and the cost may be huge if you use an agency.

Kevin correct. But most people go to Shenzhen for the shopping. WoW is more Chinese who are unable to travel abroad. I think there are sights in HK which you might find more appealing.

Thank you for the reply guys! I want to travel in Shenzhen to visit "Windows of the World" for a day tour that is why I am inquiring if it is possible to get a visa there alone or need number of pax to get it from Hong Kong.
