About:China Train

We would like to travel from Hong Kong to ZhengZhou by train

and be able to stop off on the way and stay in various places on the way. We are flying in from Bangkok and want to make it an adventure.
What ticket and route do you suggest?

You can go from HK to Shenzhen or Guangzhou, then like Changsha or Wuhan finally Zhengzhou.
