how can I get work permit and Z1 Visa?

Hi, I am Sanjay Prasad. I have come in china with 1 year M type (Multiple Entry), Now I doing my internship and I want to apply for Work Permit, so what I have to do?

Sanjay, your employer should be responsible for getting you the work permit. After you get the work permit and an officially signed labour contract from your boss, you need to go to the local exit and entry adminsitration department to change the M type into a Z type. Then apply for a work certificate and a temporary stay permit.

What kind of resident permit do you have? The M type (Multiple entry) isn't a resident permit. You should change M into Z if you want to work legally. Then change Z into a resident permit.

Sanjay, according to my knowledge, the resident permit won't given to M type holders. As I said, you first apply for the work permit with the help of your employer. Then get back to your country to apply for the Z type. After getting the Z type, you need to go to PRC and change your work permit into a employment certificate and then change your Z into a resident permit for employment. This is the whole process.
