Can a Nigerian government official travel to China with his wife?

I am a Nigeria government official and I have my official passport. I want to travel to China for an EXPO. Can my wife accompany me? She has ordinary passport.

I'm afraid your wife cannot accompany you. Since she is holding an ordinary passport, she has to get a visa.
