What is the best way to get to Leshan Buddha from Chengdu by public transportation?

Taking a high-speed rail is a good option?

Taking a high-speed train is a good choice for you.
The schedules of CD East Railway Station are from 07:30 to 20:45. The duration is about an hour. First class seat costs CNY65 and second class seat costs CNY54. After arriving within 70min, take direct bus no.3 to get to the destination.

Or you can also take long-distance bus from Xinnanmen Bus Station, and get to Leshan Xiaoba Tourist Bus Station in around 1.5h. The ticket fare is CNY 46 per person. Then take direct bus No.13 to get to the scenic area directly.
