Well, generally speaking, an 100 square meters apartments costs CNY 1,000 to 1,500 per month.
About the concrete price, it also depends on areas and house type.

I don't think so. About 8-10 years ago, the monthly rent for a 120 square metre apartment was 5000-6000 RMB, and it was not in downtown, but in Beilun, a sub-district of the city. I don't know the price now, but it is definitely impossible to be 1000-1500 RMB.
