I will be traveling to Taiwan from 22-Aug-15 to 29-Aug-15.

Is it okay to go ahead given that the typhoon is now striking that area?
Rainy season still?

The typhoon Soudelor is striking that area, advance travel there is not recommended. But during Aug. 22-29, it shall have a little influence on local weather. I just checked the weather report that there will be cloudy and showers during that period. Do pay attention to the weather forecast in advance before leaving.
