hello, we are getting the night train from shanghai to huangshan station.

Question

Are we able to get a bus from there to the mountains? How long will it take?We are staying overnight at Shillin hotel on the mountain, how do we get to this hotel?The next day we will then be getting the bullet train from HS North station to Shanghai. We can't find any information about this new station online, so wanted to know how we will get back from the mountains to HS North station? How much time should we leave in order to get our train at 14.30?Many thanks

In the day time, there are direct tourist buses available to the scenic area, but it will stop operation at night. Therefore, the best mode is to take a taxi, and the fare would be CNY200 – 220. From the Tangkou (near the south entrance of the scenic area), there are direct high speed shuttle bus line going to the North Railway station, you can take that. The bus fare is CNY20, and the travel time is about 40 – 50 mins.YOu should leave at 11:30 - 12:00.
