Hi I like to know if I apply for a student visa for china on X1 application

can i still get married in china with my Chinese girlfriend who live there on a student tye or I can't get married with that type?

Robert, did you mean you want to register your marriage in PRC? Actually it depends on local civil affairs bureau. If they agree, you both can register your marriage. Otherwise, you should get back to you or her country to register your marriage. It has nothing to do with what kind of Chinese entry permit you hold. You know, people even can get married with L types.
