About:China Visa

a first timer to obtain a visa is to present Chinese passport. Is there anyway this could be waived?

I am a US citizen born in China and left in 1952 as a small child with my mother. That is more than 60 yrs ago, so obviously, I have not any Chinese Passport.

Did you consult this with Chinese consulate? If not, please visit or call Chinese embassy or consulate that has jurisdiction in your area to confirm.
