About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Jinshanling versus Jiankou

We are a family of 10 travelling to Beijin middle of September and will spend one day in the Great Wall. Which part would you recommend us? We are willing to hike 3 or 4 hours the most. Which one is the most interest and which one the most difficult? At what height are both parts?
Thank you for your help!

Suzy, if you have no hiking experience, I do not suggest you visit Jiankou. That part is the most dangerous part. Some people lost their lives when they hiked there. Without a guide, I am afraid that you can't finish hiking. If it's your first visit to the wall, I think Jinshanling is ok. It still keeps the original appearance.
