About:Guilin Transportation

How do I get to Guilin from Macau? (Cheapest Transportation)

I plan to spend 4 days in GL and Yangshuo. Any backpackers hotel to recommend?

Moreover, what recommendations do you have for the next attraction to visit after GL as I have total 9 days to travel. I need to travel back to Macau at the end of 9 days.

Well, you can pass the custom and enter into Zhuhai first.
Then take a taxi to Shangchong Bus Station. After arriving there are some direct long-distance buses that can take you to GL. The bus schedules are 11:30, 13:00, 14:50, 15:30 and 18:20. It costs CNY 160 per person.

About the accommodation, in GL, you can go to the Old Place International Youth Hostel. The price is CNY 150 to 200 per night. The address is No.2, Yiwu Road, Xiufeng District.
In Yangshuo, Lao Ban Zhang International Youth Hostel is a good choice. It costs CNY 50 to 100 per night. It's located at No.23, Fuqian Street. Hope you like.

After GL, you can take a high speed train to Guangzhou (about 3 hours ) and stay 2-3 days there. Then another train to HK (about 2.5 hours ) for also 2-3 days. From HK, there are many ferries back to Macao.
