About:Pingyao Transportation

Is there an option to get to beijing by bus from Pingyao?

Since the rail tickets are all sold out for that day.

Well, I cannot find the direct long-distance bus that can take you to Beijing.
So you are suggested to take high-speed train from PY Ancient Town Station, get off at Taiyuan South Station. It takes around no more than an hour on the way.
Then transfer another high speed to go to Beijing West Station. The duration is about 3 hours.
