About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

my company in china said i must go and apply for z visa in hong kong?

the invitation is saying i must get my z type in hong kong and im from south africa, so is it possible that they will issue me the z type in hong kong?

Hi, as far as I know, if you don't have residency in Hong Kong, it's not easy to get the regular tourist L type entry permit from there, not to mention the work Z type. You had better confirm with your company for whether you can get it from Hong Kong.
