transportation from Kunming to Stone Forest and Snow Mountain.

How do I get there from Yongsheng Road?

From Yongsheng Road, you can take a taxi to KM East Bus Station at a cost of CNY25 – 30. In the bus station, there are direct buses to Shilin, you can take one. The bus travel time is about 2 hours.

Is the snow mountain you mentioned is Jiaozi Snow Mountain?
If so, there are direct tourist buses available at Reception Center of Tuodong Stadium. The bus fare is CNY100 for a round trip. You can take that.

Thank you very much for your reply. Where do I get a cheap accommodation in Jiaozi Snow Mountain? How do I book the accommodation.

As I know, the accommodation in Jiaozi Snow Mountain is quite limited, so the price in the mountain may be quite expensive. In the mountain, there are about two good hotels, Jiaozi Shanzhuang Hotel and Huaxi Caolu Hotel. The fare is about CNY400 – 500 for one night.

Near the Mountain foot, there is a Zhuanlong Town. There are more inns and hotels with good facility. Some local dwellings also provide accommodation, and the fare is about CNY120 – 150.

You do not need to book it, fot they will be avialable upon your arrival.
