About:How to Get from Hangzhou to Shanghai

AFTER 9.00PM WHICH TRANSPORT IS BEST OPTION FROM SHANGHAI PUDONG AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN

You can take shuttle bus line 5 to the downtown (People's Square area) in 50-60min. It operates till 23:00 (T1), 23:05(T2).

Hi Zachery

Thank you very much for your advice, your mean for downtown is Hangzhou, my wife is coming form India and her flight arrival time is 20:20 at pudong airport , there is chance she will come out nearabout 21:00. After that which transport i can get easly for Hangzhou, my first priority is Bus service. Please advice

No, the previous downtown area I mentioned is in SH City.

Well, the last direct long-distance bus from Pudong airport to Hangzhou is at 21:00.

If she couldn't catch the bus, it's suggested to find a hotel nearby the airport and go to Hangzhou next early morning. The earliest schedule is at 08:40.

If she insisting on going to Hangzhou the same arrival day. I'm afraid the only available public transport at that late is the ordinary train deoparting from SH South Railway station at 23:30. The rail ride takes about 3h and 40m. From Pudong airport, she can take the airport shuttle bus line 7 to SH Soth Railway station directly. The shuttle departs every 10-20 minutes till 23:00.

Yes, there is private bus service. But the fare is as high as CNY 800 to 900 in the night.
