Hey Inda, if your employer cancels your work permit, you can then cancel your residence permit and then apply for a one-month L type at the exit and entry administration bureau. That is to say, you can obtain one-month grace period after your Z type expires.

Lisa, you just need to visit local entry and exit management bureau where your resident permit was issued. What you need to do is to tell that you don't work any more. If you plan to stay, then you can ask them to issue a L type.
