What visa do you recommend me to get? A X or an S visa?

Hi! I'm planning on going to China with my uncle/cousins for 6 months or less, and most probably will be entering a school/university to learn Chinese. Also they usually travel like twice a year on vacation times and I might get the chance to go on a trip with them.
