Well, as I know, there is no service counter that provides phone sim card. Upon landing, you need to go to downtown area and buy one.
But this airport has many free multi-media phones for you to choose. You can use it and contact with your friends.0

Yes, there are some China Mobile branches nearby your campus that provide sim cards.
One is located at Building No.45, City North Trade and Business Garden. You can go and see.0
