Chinese visa without ARC

Hello my husband and I will travel to Beijing on the 15th Aug but he has lost his ARC. Can we get the entry permit with a copy of his ARC while we wait for his new card to arrive?

Katie, in principle, the original copy of ARC is needed for the application. However, you can have a try by providing the copy of his ARC as well as the receipt you got when applying for a new ARC card.
