Changing Visa types

Hi I am Wael from Syria.
I received a job offer to work in an Arabian restaurant there, when I applied for an entry permit through an office that gets these things done and I currently have a Type M. But now I realized that you need a type Z for this procedure, can I change the type M to a type Z when I arrive in China?

Wael, it's possible to change the M type to a Z type. However, whether you will be issued the Z type is not guaranteed.

Okay, first of all the plan is working in an Arabian restaurant in China. I do not have a collage degree. but I do have a type M visa. I heard that type M visa can no longer be extended for Syrians here(new law) please tell me what can I do? I do not want to enter with a type M visa and be forced to go back home after my type M type (30 days) end. Is there any type that allows me to stay for a year?
