luggage storage in tangkou

Question

We are a party of 3 women travelling in October, with luggage (not backpacks.  We wish to spend a night on the summit.  Is there a place where we could store our luggage for the night at the base of the mountain?  I understand that we would have to walk from the cable to the hotel; what is the distance?Thanks.

Around 10min walking distance from the main entrance of the scenic area, there is Xinguoxian Bus Exchange Center. You can store your luggage there at a cost of CNY5-10 per piece. There are several hotels for your choice at the summit, such as Baiyun Hotel and Shizilin Hotel. The former is aruond 2.5-3km to the closest cable car station, around 2h walking. While Shizilin is only 1km away from the closest cable car (Yungu Telpher) and you can walk between in 20-30min.
