To Stone Forest, you can take coach at East Bus Station, get off at Shilin Bus Station first. Then take a taxi or hire a private car to get to the scenic area. The bus schedules are from 07:30 to 20:10 with the frequency of around half an hour. To Dianchi Lake, you can take public bus no. A4, 24, 44, 73, 94, 135, 172 or 233, and get off at Haigeng Park Station. Then walk to the lake directly.
