About:Sichuan Travel

Hi i was just wanting a recommendation on a weekend trip outside of Chengdu

we have been to Dazhou, Leshan buddha & Dujiangyan previously and do not want to head out to Jiuzhaigou. It is my partners birthday so I would like something that may be of a surprise to them that we would go there. It will be in October. Thank you in advance i look forward to your response!

Oh, according to your requirements, Mt. Qingcheng is highly recommended. It's located about 20 kilometers southwest of Dujiangyan City. It's one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. You can fully appreciate beautiful natural scenery such as verdant trees and breathe fresh air.

Or you can go a little further by high speed train to Mt. Emei, which is famous for beautiful natural scenery and Buddhism culture.

Or if you are interested in city view, the nearby Chongqing is a good choice.
