What about cooked chicken?

I'm pregnant and I'm travelling to China for few days, I need to pack my own food like cooked chicken, pastries and just a few fruits, will the customs understand my situation?

Porsha, uncooked or cooked meat and fresh fruits are not allowed to enter China. You can take them on the plane. However, you need to eat them up. The customs won't let you bring them in.
