About:Mount Emei

Cheap accommodation at Mt. Emei foot

Is there a cheap hotel/hostel close to the entrance of the mountain that someone can recommend?
Also, is one day enough to visit the mountain or should I plan for two? If two, are there any recommended hostel/hotels on the mountain itself or do I have to stay at the foot again?

1. About the hotel at mountain foot, Happy Hotel is highly recommended. The price is about CNY 150 per night. It provides clean and comfortable living environment. The address is No.31, Group 4, Baoguo Village, Baoguo Temple.

2. Generally speaking, one day is enough for you to visit this mountain. But if you wanna use two days to tour around thoroughly, it's also ok.
About the hotel on the mountain, the accommodation is more expensive. You can go to Mount Emei Yuan Da Hotel. It costs CNY 300 to 400 per night. You can see the beautiful natural scenery of the mountain. It's located at Lei Dong Ping Car Park. You can find it easily.
